About me

"We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open."

- Jawaharlal Nehru

Hi! I'm Kim and this is a little about me...

I have been blessed with the most incredible, supportive and loving husband Jonathan.
We adopted our perfect shelter pup Colby, a smooth coat collie mix, in the summer of 2011, he was a year old.

 I am a Marine wife.
Home really is where his boots are.. and everywhere we move- we make it home!
We have lived in Annapolis MD, Newport RI and Stafford VA.
What's next? Bring it on!

We are expecting our first daughter Adelynn August 26th 2012.

Both Jon and I hope to be parents to more little ones one day... four, five, six.. we will just have to wait and see!

I love my whole family more than anything in the world.

I am a child of God.
Everyday I try to glorify Him.
I have faith in Him and his plan for me.

I love our planet!
I try my best to protect it- I have a long way to go and a lot to learn, but at least I try to stay on the path to a sustainable and green lifestyle.

I am a registered dietitian.
Graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
I love healthy food.
After all, you really are what you eat!

I try to eat natural foods and use natural products as much as possible.
We do what we can.

I love to go for a great morning run.
Release all those endorphins!

 I love triathlons.
It's a race against yourself- your mind and your body.
I love a great yoga session to stretch out all those hard worked muscles.
Hot yoga is one of my favorites.

I love being crafty.
There is something to be said about making something beautiful with your own two hands and your creativity.

 Jon calls me frugal fanny.
I love a great deal! C'mon, who doesn't?

I have a love for Ocean Park, ME.
Spent my summers growing up here.
Met my husband here. July 2008
He proposed here. July 2010
We got married here. June 2011

I am a beach bum, and I'm proud of it!

... that love may have sparked my beachy and light home decor style.

And that's me in a nutshell!
